I'm Moving

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am moving to Wichita KS on May 15th.  I would like to continue posting here on the MO board for I have made so many friends and you guys are the best there is!!!!! I will miss KC but it's only for 2 yrs.  I thought since I have lost 87 lbs and I feel so much better both phsycially and mentally I thought a change would be nice.  I have lived in KC all my life of 40 yrs so this might be good for me?  Who knows maybe I will find me a boyfreind there......ha, ha.... you know whats weird?  Since I have lost all this weight I have noticed that guys open doors for me like at the store, gas station, etc... more so then before and they actually look at me.  Before they would never look at me and very few cared to open a door for me.  Wow this good be great? I regret not being able to attend last nights support group meeting in KC but I only have 2 weeks to get packed and ready for the movers and since I have to work too that leaves me little time to get things in order and ready to be moved.  I think Colette is great she is a great leader and I hope that the group will grow and not fade away.  I would like to have a group to go back to once I retunr to KC in 2 yrs.  Thanks MO board for all the support on this journey you guys are the greatest!!!!!!!! You are part of the MO board and you can never leave it!!! No matter where you roam, this is your home. We'd sure miss you if you disappeared. So glad you're having WOW moments and feel well enough to move. Isn't life great post-op???

We surely did miss you last nite.  I was so looking forward to seeing you with all that weight loss.  We will truly miss you.  Was this a sudden decision or have you given it thought for a while.  I wish you all the luck and I know that God will protect you and guide you in his care.  Please keep in touch.  That is 2 people that we are losing, Karen also moved to St. Louis this past weekend. Colette, My sister is moving to Wichita to go to school there and she didn't want to move there alone so I told her if she found us suitable housing then I would move there with her.  It wasn't until just last week that she found us a house so it was then that I said I would move.  I also thought it would be a nice change for me since my body is changing in so many ways that a new home in a new city might be good too?  This is only for 2 yrs until she completes her degree so I will be back to KC and I most of my family is here so I know I will be coming back often to visit.
