My daughter just called and they're on the way to the ER with my grandbaby, Lilly (8.5 months), as her temperature is 105.5 - with Tylenol!  They can't get it to come down so they're taking her in.  She's been sick since Friday and they took her to the doctor then.  It's apparently viral, but with this high of a fever, they dehydrate so quickly - so they need to get her in.  We certainly would appreciate your prayers.  Thanks!

Just got an update:  it's primarily viral, but she did also have a double ear infection, so that was part of it as well.  They got the fever down, and thankfully, she was not dehydrated, so they're already on their way back home.  Thank for the prayers!!

So glad to hear things worked out I know she will still be sick for a while but at least they know what's wrong.  The not knowing is the worst. Prayers up!! Wishing your loved ones the very best. Marylin

Traci: Praise the Lord they found out what was wrong and that she is already doing better!  It's hard to see our grandbabies (as well as our own grown children) going thru pain.   Hope you have a great day.   Debbie D.

Oh how I know that fear....we had the same thing with our 4 year  old last week and it was also her ear...when she hit 105 I had her in a lukewarm tub and could only get her down to 103 and just kept the tylenol and motrin going....bless your grandbaby's little heart....you can't even explain to them why they feel so crummy either...all you can do is cry with them.  I am so glad they got her to feeling better and that everything worked out!!!

This can be such a scary feeling... for them and us. My daughter who is 6 had a high temp last week and her ears were a little red, but she had strep AGAIN! This is the 3rd time this school yr. Were only in Kindergarten... I will say a prayer for a speedy recovery. It is so scary when the little ones get sick . I wish you and yours well~Lo

Traci,  Didn't get on line in time to see the prayer request. But I am so thankful that you lil sweetie is doing better. When they are sick that little it is so scary cause they can't tell you what's hurting or how they are feeling. Fever, especially that high sure isn't easy on them. I will be praying she continues to do well! Luv & Hugs..Tammy~ammy
