Need Medicare doc for south Missouri

I live in the Lake of the Ozarks area and could travel to Springfield, St. Louis or Columbia.  I am just staring out in this process and could use some physician referral for medicare.

Dr. Hornbostel has his seminar on the first sunday of every month....I think it is at 4pm not sure but you can call their office and find out , since this is getting close to the end of this month you would be right on time to be able to go and get that much done, You have to attend a seminar before you can see him anyway. Medicare REQUIRES a bariatric surgery center of excellence and as far as I know Dr Hornbostel would be the closest to you...people come from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas to see him...he is the best and is at Bothwell in Sedalia which is a surgery center of excellence.  His seminar is the first Sunday of the month and is at 3pm in the 3rd floor classrooms of Bothwell Hospital.

I live in Sedalia and I went to Omaha NE to have my surgery done, I had the DS but my doc took Medicare and Missouri Medicaid so I had no out of pocket exspence but that was over 2 yrs ago and that might not be the case anymore with all the medicare changes.  I do know that my doc and his hospital got there COE this week.  I can get to Omaha in about 4 hours. St Johns in Springfield, with Dr Edwards  takes medicare and they received their center of excellent certificate in April,  That is who is doing my lap band.  I just got my surgery date of  june 2.  He is taking some vacation in may.
