I just found out from the Dr. that I have Mild sleep apnea and I am going to have a 2nd test done on June 3rd. So, this will help in me getting approved for the Gastric Bypass, right? I am thinking and hoping so!!! I am more then 100 lbs of where I should be with Severe depression and anxiety and some high blood pressure. I am thinking with these things Medicare should pay for the surgery, right??? I was just wanting some reassurance AGAIN ! ! ! ! I am so thrilled and excited. I also need to talk to my psychitrist about putting me on liquid medicine after the surgery, right? Okay, there are my questions for the hour, lol. And Christine and Jan I sure appreciate all your help!

Sleep Apnea is a great thing to have right now! LOL  I don't know about your insurance, but for mine, it would get an approval!  You should be fine.  You'll know so much more on Weds.  They will tell you when they see you if they think you're going to have insurance issues.  You're going to feel so relieved on Weds, once you see Dr. H and his staff.  Oh and BTW... it's super normal to be feeling this uptight and freaked out that something is going to go wrong (not that you asked, but in case you were wondering! LOL) I was just as freaked out.. maybe more!

Girl...you're a basket case!!  You're gonna end up with a stroke if you don't go sit somewhere and relax !!!   I mean that in a kind way....but you are worrying over nothing....you have the qualifications....be excited, but quit worrying....you're gonna run yourself ragged!  As far as your meds go....you need to ask Dr. H if you need to be switched to liquid or switched to another med.  I know mine I was able to just open the capsule and swallow it with some water....it was tasteless because it was little time-release pellets inside the capsule...not powder.  Not all meds come in liquid.  I wouldn't make any changes until you find out from him if you need to do something different....and if it happens that you need to switch meds you need to do it way before surgery so you can adjust and be stable emotionally before surgery...you sure don't want to have to deal with that after surgery along with recovery....that would suck.  Hope that helped....now go sit and put your fingers together and repeat after me....ohmmmmm....ohmmmmm...LOL
