~What do you guys think about doing a 2nd annual MO Board Reunion?~

Hi MO Peeps~

For all of our newbies to the board- WELCOME!!! We are so happy to have you here and for the chance to get to know you.

~~~~~~For those of you that are new:

Last September, we had our 1st annual MO BOARD reunion at a resort in Branson, MO....We had it after Labor Day so that we would be there in off peak season so the prices for the cabins were reasonable, but we still had all the ammenities-the pool and such-they kept it open for us and our group.

Alot of us spent 1-2 nights or more even-and some came just for the day-and some split the cost of the 2 bedroom cabins. I have had some people asking already about the reunion for this year-and I wanted to see how many would be interested in doing that this year as well?

We did a Saturday pot luck luncheon and BBQ. We had games for the adults and for the kids, the kids did a pinata, there were fireworks from Celebration City that could be seen from our cabins, and we had time to just sit and talk...it was so nice. We got rained out, so we didnt get to have our camp fire-but most of us had a great time in spite of the downpour! (we moved to a covered, screened in porch/deck-we have a place outside and a place inside this time if its calling for rain! LOL)

You can be anywhere in your journey, pre-op or post-op, we dont care-its also a great thing for pre-ops as well, because you can witness that life is normal again after surgery and so on. You can bring as many of your loved ones as you want-the more the merrier....so-if you think you would be interested, just bop on in and let me know. It will be in September again-after Labor Day sometime, and it will be in Branson again-should we have the 2nd annual reunion.
