1St Appt W/ Dr. H Wed the 30th !!! YAY!!!

Today, I received a call from the surgeons office giving me my 1st appointment next wednesday!!! I am sooo excited! I will probably have a hard time sleeping the night before.... Hoping that I can sleep between now and then. I talked to her about the delayed approval by the Psych Eval, she didnt seemed concerned about it. I told her that I dont smoke and never have in my LIFE. She just asked if I will be continuing seeing my therapist and I reassured her I will for a long time . I have no intention to stop seeing my therapist. So, I think everything is on its way. I think this is a good sign, if he wasnt willing to do the surgery cuz of the Psych Eval she probably wouldnt of even set a first appt, right? Well, I am very blessed and excited and wow am I ever feeling it!!! I am so getty ! :) Have a great day everyone!~Lo

HAPPY DANCE!  Yay for you!  Let's cross our fingers and wait for the white binder.  You'll know on Weds if he'll do the surgery or not.  I went in and he talked to me for a few mins and handed me a binder and told me to wait for them to call with my insurance approval.  My friend went in and he talked to her and told her they couldn't get insurance approval with only her weight and GERD because our insurance, TRICARE doesn't view GERD as a co-morbidity, but he told her to see if the Dr. could say she has high blood pressue and/or sleep apnea.  So, he doesn't just slam the door in you face and say, "NO SURGERY FOR YOU!" like the soup Nazi from Seinfield.  He'll tell you welcome to the team or he'll tell you what you need to do to get the surgery approved.   YOU'LL BE FINE!  Weds will be here before you know it!  What a good way to get the weekend started.
