SURVEY: DO YOU THINK INSURANCE SHOULD MANDATE PSYCH COUNSELING FOR WLS?

Tricare does cover that!!!!  I am doing it!!!!  Just go to your PCM for a referral to the shrink of your choice....one that specializes in weight problems of some sort would be best....whether it is obesity in general or eating disorders....overeating is a disorder as is emotional eating....not just bulimia and anorexia....my guy in Sedalia did his PhD on obesity and lots of research so he is well versed and very helpful in helping me face my food demons....I don't think I will be successful longterm without doing some personal modification....but YES....tricare DOES cover.

Hmmmm....not sure on that....you may have to make a few calls and ask a few questions...usually the ones in the area know who's good at what....I can ask mine if he knows anyone in Springfield but that's a long shot....you also need to make sure they are a tricare provider...would start there first...usually you can get a listing from the tricare office....or online I think....I found mine by accident...didn't actually know that was his research topi****il after.  What luck huh?
