How much did your taste change/

They told me at my pre op that my tastes will change after my surgery and now I read that someone like the nectar before surgery and not after. Does this happen to everyone? Meg

Meg i cant speak for every one but my taste did sure change...i liked milk and protein powder be4 surgery but cant tolerate milk now...lots of other things have changed too in taste

I loved my protein powder before surgery and loved it afterwards too. I was fine. except for a little while right after surgery but it was due to the fast weight loss and causing the nasty taste in my mouth.

My taste didn't change...just my appetite...i think it's safe to say nothing really tastes "good" if you're not hungry...everyone's different so there's no way to tell if you will change....if you're worried about getting stuck with a bunch of nectar don't worry about that....I will take it off your hands cuz i still love it.
