I was looking for a tuna salad recipe last week now keep in mind I am not a fish or sea food eater ate it!  I thought I would try tuna again ( i liked it every once in a while)  I came across this recipe thought it was different so I tried it and let me tell you it was the best tuna salad I have ever had and that's saying a lot from a person who doesn't normally eat fish so I thought I would post it for you and you can try it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (7 ounce) can white tuna, drained and flaked
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing (I used lite mayo)
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish (I used chopped up dill pickles instead)
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried minced onion flakes (I used a chopped up red onion instead)
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 pinch garlic powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the tuna, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and onion flakes. Season with curry powder, parsley, dill and garlic powder. Mix well and serve with crackers or on a sandwich.

that sounds like my tuna salad,     another way i make it sometimes is to cut up apples and put in with sweet relish and only mayo. and can put nuts in there too.
