~Prayer requests~and Praise Reports~

Hi Everyone, It was suggested that we get our prayer request post and praise report started once again. For some of the newbies, you probably havent seen it yet-but we used to have it posted daily. Please, feel free to post for any prayer request and/or praise report you may have-no matter how big or how small-they are ALL important to us AND there is power in prayer!!  We have some of the most awesome prayer warriors on the MO Board, thats for sure!! I will go ahead and get started. I have kind of a long list here. If your prayer request isnt here-please dont take offense-I tried to remember everyone! Please add it.  Thanks. Please pray for Kenny and Cliff. They are both in ICU and not expected to make it.  Please pray for Mel and her family, with their situation with the BIL, and please pray that the good Lord will put the right people in their path to get him put behind bars for a very long time-where he belongs-where he cant hurt anybody else, ever again. Please also pray for Mels health. She is having very serious health problems and she needs a couple of surgeries-but cannot have them done right now.  Please also pray that the adoption will go through and that the good Lord will protect their home and their family from the devil and the people that he uses to try and tear them down! Please pray for Theresa (mels mom, my adopted mom) for her cancer. She is going through chemo and having really hard time with meds they have her on. Please pray for Tammy H and her children. Also for her neighbor who is very sick and in the hospital on life support.

Please pray for Connie W and her family. Her dad is in the hospital and she has been told that he will not make it. Please pray for Deb Ds son, who just lost his friend in an accident. Please pray for Deb M and her surgeon. For a safe surgery and speedy recovery. Please pray for Brenda M. She is going to see an ortho surgeon. She is in a lot of pain due to back problems and fibromyalgia. She has been living like this for a long time and really needs AND deserves a break. Please pray for Bev B. She is also having really horrible health issues with pain and her back. Same boat as Brenda-but she is pre-op. Praise report though, she has gone 6 weeks without a cigarette and she never thought she could do it! Praise God!!! Please pray for Chelles little baby grandson who has asthma problems. Praise report-Chelle will be graduating soon!! Please pray for Bec and her pre-op hoops she must jump through. She has had a rough road with approvals, denials, this and that and is now on the 6 month supervised diet. She is such an inspiration to everyone. I pray that all will go well this time around and she will get her surgery she so desperately wants and needs. Please pray for Lana, for Jan C and her hubby Joe. They all have bad bone and joint issues, arthritis and so on. All have been affected by this weather and are experiencing a lot of pain. Please pray for our new post ops.  Right now Bev and Susyalba come to mind-but I am sure I have missed a few since I was absent for a couple of months. please pray they have strength and peace of mind and that they continue to recover quickly and have no complications. Please pray for Traci, she took a fall and was feeling the after affects. In closing, I would like to ask for prayer for my family please. My dad is having serious health issues and they have been dealing with the death of a good family friend and now possibly Kenny, who they consider dad. Please pray for my girls to have strength and peace when their biological dad tries to contact them, that they will be strong and not let him tear them down emotionally. Please pray for my sons as well. Darrel is struggling a bit and Jon has lost his pet gold fish that he adored. Also my oldest daughter was in a car accident and is still seeing an ortho doc because her back got messed up pretty bad.  My SIL Aaron is very ill right now too-so prayers for general health would be wonderful. Lets not forget our armed forces and all of the people who are affected across the country with this wicked weather! Sorry it was so long. Thanks for your prayers. Your appreciated!! p.s. I would like to add a praise report. I have been suffering the worst pain ever in my back for 15 months while I waited for my medicare to become effective-I finally found a doctor who is helping me-and this is the least amount of pain I have been in, so I PRAISE GOD and I thank God for the relief and for the doctor put in my path to help me.

Please pray for all the people along the lakes down here in Stone, and Taney county as we all got about 4 inches of rain last night and all the lakes are fooding or starting to flood or will be flooding. It is suppose to start up again this afternoon and tonight with more rain and high winds and tornados. Pray that God protects all of us that are going thru this horrible flooding and stuff . I know that it is bad in other places too just dont know all of them.

Hi Janet, So glad to see you back. An update on my dad. He passed away Monday morning and his funeral is tomorrow. Once again I thank everyone for their prayers.I understand about not wanting to let go. Bless my dad's heart, he did not want to go till he knew we were all Ok.He got to see all of us and say good by, then he passed. My mother is numb and I thank God for that. I still can't believe he's actually gone. I'll pray for all of you and may God bless you all. Connie     

Connie im so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. I know that isnt easy losing a parent, I have lost both of mine as have many others but that doesnt make it any the easier on our hearts.  Know that we will keep you and your family all in prayer so there may be something wonderful come from this and that your Dad wont have lived and passed in vain.  Love you sweetie hope all is well with everyone.  Have our arms wrapped tighty about all of you

Connie, I too am so sorry to hear about your dad.  Know you and your family are in my prayers.  I pray and peace that passes all understanding and a comfort like only comes from the Master! Bec

Thanks for starting up the prayer post and for including me and my aches and pains. I'll be praying for all who need it - blanket prayers for OH folks.

Connie, I'm so sorry about your dad. It's one of the hardest things we have to do in our lives. You and your family are in my prayers.

I have a praise too. My friend, Gail, in Michigan went to the Dr and she had a stricture and they dilated it and she is feeling so much better. Thanks for your prayers and ideas for her.
