Prayer request for strength!

Hi all; I lurk alot and some know me some don't. I'm posting today for help for strength. I just received a call from my niece in Florida. My sister, whom has had alot of medical problems for a couple of months now  has been sent home from the hospital with hospice care and given 3 - 6 months to live. Her heart is only working on 20% or less.  I  am having a hard time. I know mentally she would probably be better going with the lord but, my heart is stingy. It is so hard to write this with tears streaming down my face. We are never ready to let go. I would appreciate all the prayers. I appreciate all of you!

Dear Barbara, I am so very sorry to hear about your sister. Your right, we do get stingy, dont we? Its hard to let those we love, go. Its hard to know they are uncomfortable and may be hurting or suffering. I am adding your sister, you, and your loved ones to the prayer chain. Barbara sweetie i can just imagine the pain that you are feeling, I thought of how i would feel if it were one of my sisters. and just the thought of it leaves me crying along with you. Know that all your friends on here are feeling your pain and praying for you to have the strength to bear it all It makes it harder that she lives so far away from you too . Love and hugs and as Bec says "Thy will be done" is a very very hard prayer to pray, Our hearts get stingy and want to keep our loved ones always. Love to you

Dearest Barbara...I know this is a hard time for you...please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you  and your family...also know that being on hospice gives her the greatest chance of being at peace when she makes her way home...I am a hospice nurse and I know the energy that goes into caring for, loving, and letting go.  Continue to take care of yourself as others take care of your sister...only God knows when it is her time to leave you...I'll be praying for peace for both of you...

I wanted to tell you all, I feel your prayers working. I have been trying to get flight tickets I can afford to go see her and they came through today. I leave on the 21st and will get to spend a week with her. Now my prayers are that she last until then. I know the gave her 3-6 months but with only 20% of her heart working I worry she will go before I can get there. I just have to have faith and place everything in the Lords hands. Again, Thank you all for being there for me.
