Anyone had kidney stones? Anyother thing no one told me!
I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital yesterday. The worse pain I have ever had in my life (I have 3 children). It was a kidney stone. (Thank goodness it wasn't my liver since I am having liver problems too. When I researched kidney stones this morning on the computer, it said that bariatric patients are more likely to have kidney stones because of obsorbtion problems.
Seems that everytime that I have something go wrong that someone is blaming it on my WLS. Whats up with that!!!
Sorry to whine but I was fat before but I didn't have all of these health issues. Maybe it is old age. Anyway, thought I would check with everyone else.
Oh Sharlene - I'm so sorry! Yes, there was just a thread here on the Missouri board about that a few days ago and I looked up some info on it and posted in that thread. Here's a link to that thread.

I have them. Been dealing with them for the last 2 weeks. I think I finally passed it. But I have an infection and blood in my urine because of it. I had them before WLS. So I don't think my WLS caused it but I think all the water I drink now may have flushed it out. I have been living on Vicodine and Toradol for 2 weeks. Going to a urologist today. Yesterday was my first day without pain meds, I was still hurting but I could deal with it without the drugs.
Good luck I hope you feel better!
Peace in all you do,
Bel
I'm so excited, I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it, I like it!
