My last meal celebration! I'll be on all liquids tomorrow!
My husband would of LOVED that last meal! ~ha great picture! I am so happy for you that it is time to start your two week diet...it means you are so close now to surgery. I sure wish I was there already but have several more months yet of supervised diet. I will be praying that the next two weeks will be a breeze and the liquid diet will "float" on by quickly for you! ~tee hee Praying for you, bec

congrats Brenda!
I think I had buffet all you can eat chinese food the day before my liquid diet started!
it was so yummy!
nice to know that after all the healing takes place you will be able to eat steak again....just not that BIG! rofl
so tell me....will the O2 be needed after you loose some of you?
you look very happy...try to stay focused on that...specially around day 3 on the liquid diet.
its not fun(the liquid diet) but oh so important for many reasons.
I have never been very succesful on any diet but I was so proud of myself during that time period...only cheated twice....kinda....a hard boiled egg on day 4 and I pureed myself a brat and all the fixings on fathers day.....I lost about 14 lbs on the liquids.
2 more weeks than you will be on the ride of your life!
good luck...and as Jan says
keep your eye on the Prize!!.....YOU!

Today I started off with a shake, my first one - of a lifetime! How exciting!
I am starting the liquid diet 28 days pre-surgery for a host of health reasons, much too long to type. I've lived on a liquid diet for almost a year before, so I pretty much know what I'll go through. But I also remember how great I felt getting all the vitamins and such. I'm sure I'll want to eat by the first week’s end...but like someone said here.... 'Be faithful to yourself!'
Today, I'm reading my post it note on my computer screen that says:
FEEL THE FEAR & DO IT ANYWAY!
We will be leaving for Sedalia this afternoon, my stomach scope is at 7:15 in the morning. It is a 3 hour drive so we are going up to spend the night and make things easier. I've never seen around Sedalia, we have only gone to see the Dr. and straight back, and up to meetings twice, but they were at night. So we'll so look around this evening and have a nice time.
Happy 'April Fools Day' everyone!
