WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

The support group is on Sunday (next sunday April 6th) at Bothwell.  I THINK it's at 5pm.  The seminar is at 3pm and it lasts about two hours, and the support group is supposed to be right after that.   As far as the drinks, YES!  They were that good.  I AM going to buy them.  We found them online yesterday at www.vitacost.com (That's right, isn't it, Nancy?) for 23.98 for a 2# bottle.  and shipping is only 4.99 no matter how much you order.  I'm trying to decide when to order it;  now, or a couple weeks before my surgery.  She let me try to cherry, lemonade, tropical something, and fuzzy navel.  They were yummy.  Since you can mix them with water, you can have them right after surgery, and Nancy swears that those helped her heal.  She looked great!  I wouldn't have guessed that she just had surgery two weeks prior.  Ok, I'm done singing Nancy's praises for the day.  You rock Nancy!   LMFAO!

Christine, are u saying 2 bottles are 24.00+4.99? Are they flavoring or what? I am just curious. I dont come on the missouri site much, but I am going to get more involved esp. since I would like to chat wither others that have my same surgeon and others in my area. I went to the park which has a walking track around it and is 1 mi all away around it and I walk there and back. So, that is about 1.5 once I get back home :-). The kids and I went and ALL walked. Usually, 2 of them will atleast ride a bike lol. My daughter is only 6 and passed me up by 1 mi. I am really out of shape. It is a MAJOR accomplishment for me to walk, so as long as I get some walking in for atleast 30 min I am good. I think it is better for me to start off slow. I am hoping to make the support group in April. I am really needing it I think. ~Lo

Sorry for the confusion.  The protein is 24.00 for 1 two pound container.  It's protein with fruit flavoring.  There are 23g of protein in one serving... I believe.  Nancy is the one who actually has it.  She just let me try hers and I'm planning to order some for myself.  Check out the website, if you're interested.  It's got the nutritional information listed so you can get a better idea. Good for you for walking!  That's awesome that you're getting in the routine and setting a good example for your family!  I hope you do make it to the support group.  It'd be nice to meet you!   I'm having an excited day today.  I go back and for between being super excited about the surgery and terrified and wondering if I'm making the right decision.

Christine, I am right there with you!  I am having the same back and forth thing.  I just need to remember that nothing else has ever kept the weight off and I am so tired of being on this roller coaster!  It is time to get off!   Meg
