Vesta if you want to do it and have the money to do it. go for it. doesnt matter what your age is. you gained several several years back with losing the weight so why not look better if you feel it?  I would love to have a face lift , an arm lift and lower body lift but that is lots and lots of money. Maybe i need to go back to work full time and save up for it lol ....   I vote yes

I agree with Jan.  It isn't an issue of age.  It's an issue of self and health.  If it can improve your health, why not do it?  I have a friend here (granted, she's 26) that had a tummy tuck and boob job about two months ago.  She's fine now.  It was pretty painful at first, and she got tired of the tight thing around her waist, but she's happy and healthy now.  If you want it, get it.  You'll feel better in the long run!

If you can afford it or have an insurance coverage for it, then go for it. It isn't a matter of age, it's your self esteem. I would do it in a heartbeat if I have insurance or felt like I had the money to spare.  Give yourself the chance to complete your journey!

Vesta, Definately go for it!  Check out the insurance angle too - I bet you can get some of it covered!  I think it is the natural second step after all your weight loss.   I agree it is not a matter of age.  I have talked to a PS in Jefferson City that I am going to use.  She recommend waiting 18 - 24 months so that you give your body that extra time after surgery to get in a "normal" grove.  I am hoping to see her again this summer and schedule a lower body lift for this fall!  I want to get a boob lift too, but I have more issues with my stomach.  It is hard to fit all that skin in the jeans that I know I could wear it if was gone.

You are a very pretty lady! After all the hard work you've done to get where you are, why shoudn't you take the extra step and make yourself look as good as you can( o.k i made that part up, I know it's for your back), you have EARNED IT(come on how many "mature" women...who aren't millionaires get to start over with new perky boobies lol) !, I haven't even had my surgery yet (april 7) and I am already looking for plastic surgeons!! LOL. you go for it!!
