Well - I have hit another plateau.  I know they will happen, but I was doing so well and motivated.  It has been about a week since the scale has moved.  I've upped my protein and water so hopefully that'll help.  I'm working out five days a week!  Any other suggestions for me??? Thanks!
It's so much fun being a loser!!!!

Yep - check your measurements, I bet you're still losing inches.    Other than that, just keep doing what you know you should, and the scale will move again.  Don't go too low on your calories, keep drinking your water and protein shakes and exercising:  your body will adjust and the scale will start moving down once again.

I get about 50 gms of protein from the shakes and the rest from food.  I usually get in about 70 gms a day.  The water - only about 32 ounces.  I do drink other things though - milk and tea (decaf).  I get about 58-60 ounces of liquid a day.  I need to improve that.

Thanks!

Read Traci post in the whats happening from yesterday and today. ok  you need to get at least 80 grams of protein from shakes only since the protein any other way is apparently not utilized.   so up the shakes...

Renee, Others have given you great advice.  I would just like to add one thing for consideration.  Working out builds muscle as we know.  Muscle weighs more than fat.  Therefore, you might be exchanging one for the other, muscle for fat.  So for a one week plateau, I would not get to concerned.  Up the protein and water intake as suggested and just hang in there.  The scale will move again soon. Renee,   I really hate to hear this, I am sorry, I know its stressful for us but I guess it's just part of it.  I was stalled for 4 weeks, yes, 4 weeks on the first one and last week at my week 7 weigh in lost 7 lbs.  Now what?  I am afraid when I weigh Saturday I will be in a stall again lol.  As sure as I write this I will.  I have only lost 33 since surgery, so I am definitely classified as the slowest loser of all of us who had the surgery in the same timeframe and I have a lot to lose, but I will get there.  It can't just stop.  at least not yet i hope ;)  Just hang in there, I know its frustrating, but it will work itself out.  I just have to remember that when I see my next stall :) Blessings Cindy
