Carbonation? Caffeine?

Why is caffeine and carbonation forbidden? I LOVE coffee and Tea and flavored Carbonated water, I have tried caffeine free tea, coffee and flavored water with no bubbles and I just really dont like them much. Does anyone know why or when it is allowed again I am a month out and miss them. Thanks Nikki

caffeine supposedly increases your appetite mainly for carbs i think it is?  Carbonation because the gas properties in it .  No nobody said you were going to like those things as much but when you had this surgery you should have had in your mind that you had to make a life change, you cant have the surgery then go back to eating and drinking all the things that made you fat to begin with. the surgery isnt a magic surgery just a tool to help you lose weight. There are certain things that you wont ever be able to eat or drink again other than just a taste or two. but you know and i know that sodas are not one of them or at least that is what i get from your post. I hope im not comming over as being mean or preachy to you , i dont mean to be I want you to suceed in your weight loss journey but you need to change your thinking about what all you are giving up and think about what you are gaining. Concentrate on getting healthy , being able to do something that you want to do. wearing those pretty clothes that you see in the stores and catalogs.  Please dont get mad at what i posted it is just the old mother hen in me that i dont want you to put roadblocks in your way on this wonderful journey that you are going on. The wow moments make you feel so good that it is worth giving up sodas, sweets, potatoes, pasta, white rice, etc etc. lol   it really really is. love yourself and take care of yourself.
