WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY..

Did you see it, really did you? What? The sun of course. Lol I went outside a couple of times and once the wind literally pushed me up against the house. I went out to the greenhouse and it tore the door out of my hands and slung it back against the wall , I really thought it was broken. It did tear the door closure thingy loose but Joe was able to fix it.

I have had the worse gas today don’t know what caused it unless it is all the protein shakes I am trying to get in . My stomach feels like it is pumped full. Much like we felt when we first come home from the hospital. Remember that? Lol I know TMI…

TRACI: What sort of design clients do you have. House design or what?

Well I made the protein shakes down to about 4 oz apiece , I was only making them about 6 oz anyway. But I still cant eat anything. Other than them. I did this evening force myself to eat some home made chicken soup. It was really good but I got down about ½ cup and that was it. Oh yeah and 2 whole wheat saltines.

Ive also gotten in my 80 oz of water too.

TAMMY: LOL I know how you feel about the people living with you. And I love that new rule. Joe and I have always had people living with us until recently and that is because we are living so far away from everything no one want to stay way out here . Joe say he inspects peoples luggage anymore and if they have more than 3 pieces he gets suspicious.

We sure hope you get to come to the meeting next month…I hope you all get one started down there but yeah be sure and not plan it for the same day as ours so you can still come up to visit.

NUTTi: hey working woman. So glad that you are finding time to come say hi once in awhile. Sounds like you are really enjoying your job .Where are you working?

Be really careful about getting enough protein in your system and water too. Those two things can really make you feel awful if you don’t have them.

I hope everyone had a great day today and didn’t get blown away. I have about 6 windchimes on my back porch and it tore two of them up today. One is my big metal one of course. Now I will have to see if I can fix it , hope so.

Take care everyone

HUGS

GOD BLESS

Morning everyone Well, I must have missed that peek of sun yesterday.  But I did not miss that wind!  Goodness!!  I had to keep two hands firmly on the steering wheel.  I woke up to another dusting of snow outside.  It's pretty - but come on now, enough already.  I'm ready for budding trees, sunshine, warm temps and FLOWERS!  Jan:  I'm  a web designer.  I own a web design and hosting company.  Keeps me busy - that's for sure.  I've been doing this professionally since 1999.  So quite a while, at least for this line of work.  Have a great day everyone!!

Hey OH Board, Yes, Jan there is a sun !!! I saw it too yesterday and it's shinin' like crazy right now. I'm so glad to see this great week coming up. Speaking of gas I sure get that a lot ,but I expected it from what I learned at all the meetings I went to before surgery. I just pop a gas-x ( best advice I got from you Jan) and I'm good. I sure had a great time at the meeting and Village Inn afterwards. It was so nice to see everyone after 2 months of not being able to go. I'm down to 194 now, and I'm almost in a 14. I'm so happy cuz I was stuck between 196 and 198 for 2 weeks, but as I knew (again from the meetings) that I would go through that, so I didn't panic much. It does make you wonder if you are the one it's gonna fail on though. But I had faith........ I have a busy day today. I have my vocational rehab appt. today to meet the woman whose going to help me with a resume and job search. I'm so anxious to get working. That's at 1:30 in Springfield, then all 3 of my kids have the dentist at 3 in Ozark, so I'm gonna be running later. I'm glad you heard from Janet and that's she's doing well.I know we all miss her here. I hope everyone *****cently had surgery is doing well and no problems. God Bless All. Connie

Hello Jan and MO board Praise the Lord I am all thru with my testing. I saw the pulmonary specialists today. He put me on 2 inhalers but did say after I lose some of this weight it should correct itself. He said my shortness of breath when walking is due to the weight. So he cleared me for surgery. That was my last test. I have had a stress test, sleep study, venous doppler, and pft. Now I am ready for surgery. I saw Dr Suttmoeller and since I have not quit smoking altogether I have to wait 6 wks. I really hope I have the will power to quit. I talked to him about the sleeve and he gave me my choice but said I wouldn't get the weight loss with the sleeve that I want. It is such a big decision and I only want to do it once and get the best weight loss so I decided to go with the rny. Dr De la torre will be my surgeon so I am pretty comfortable with that. I knew I had to quit smoking so it is my own fault I have to wait. darn darn darn.......My next appt with him is April 18. Then I have to do the classes they have and then get my surgery date. Should be early May.  Hope everyone had a good day!!!  All you new post ops please posts about your experiences, us preops need all the info we can get.....
