Hospitals suck!
Well I spent the last two days in the hospital in so much pain I wanted to cry more then breath!!!! Finally after numerous test they decided my pouch is great no ulcers, just one little thing wrong a freakin gall bladder that doesnt work right .... they let me come home today and are scheduling surgery :( The last thing I want right now is surgery but it beats hurting like this!
You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be, before you can actually become that person.

so sorry Bobby but that is one of the things that can happen when you lose weight really fast. I was lucky and had had my gall bladder out years before wls. take care of yourself and you will be amazed how much better you feel when that thing is gone. Love and hugs.

Ack! Sorry Bobbie. I do know that pain. I had my gallbladder out in 1989, long before my WLS. I still remember that pain! OUCH! Hang in there, this surgery will get you fixed up and feeling better soon.

Shannon it is pretty common for a person who has lost a lot of weight to have back problems the excess weight is gone and our center of gravity is totally different , also excess skin hanging sometimes causes it ,. I hope it is nothing more than that but if not ouch back pain is horrible isnt it. Being a nurse you know that back surgery is probably the last thing that anyone should ever want or do. Will keep you in my prayers that the P.T. will help.
