Pre Surgery jitters

Ok I am sure this is normal what I am feeling, I am getting so nervous, I am also excited. I have the horrible magnesium citrate thing to do tomorrow. lol I have a great support system, my twin sister had the same surgery Nov. 06 so I do know what to expect, I am just scared of nothing I guess.  Please keep me in your prayers. I do understand your jitters. but just know that we will all be praying for you ...oh by the way the magnesium citrate is better if it is good and cold. good luck and have someone to let us know how you are doing ok?

I appreciate all the words of encouragement and prayers. My prayers and thoughts are with you as well Unkown secret, we will be riding this ride together!!! I think some of the nervous are coming from some negative postings I have read about Bothwell and my Dr. I know everyone has there own experiences but its kind of scaring me!! I also am a single mom and I have never been away from my 2 year old, he even sleeps with me, it is a comfort to me, my mom will be taking care of my kiddos but noone else can do it like I do, I am just driving myself crazy with my worries. Haaa Nikki   

Nikki you have the best doctor in the world as far as i am concerned , no joke. I am a nurse and im not easily impressed with Doctors but Dr, H. is a great doctor and a good Christian man too. so dont worry ..and Bothwell hospital has an excellent staff that cares about their patients ...you will be the mother that you want to be with your kiddos in a few weeks. being able to do things with them that you cant do right now. so go into surgery trusting God and your doctor he is a good one.

Nikki I work at Whiteman AFB in the Tricare office and have been working referrals for Dr. Hornbostel for six years now.  I have NEVER had one person come back and say they did not like him or had anything bad to say about him as a doctor.   This is one of the reasons I choose him to do my surgery.  I have access to all kinds of bariatic doctor's and in my opinion he's the best!  I'm sure everything went well for you today.  I will be in your shoes on the 7th of March.  My prayers are with you and just remember you're now on the losers bench!  Julie
