Oh yeah I do have a question about protein.  I need some more ideas for protein shakes.  I am getting bored. Here's what I take: 1 AchievOne Mocha Jave in the morning GNC 100% Whey Protein in Chocolate Carmel (only flavor I can tolerate)        with skim milk        usually around 5pm and then about 9pm. I just need more ideas for different brands.  I will probably order some of the Whey Gourmet from BariatricEating.com.  They are pretty good.  I ordered their sample pack after surgery some of the brands were good others not.  Has anyone tried the protein from Wal-Mart?  I want to be able to get some at the store sometimes too.  As you can tell I get bored pretty easily. Thanks, Kelly

Kelly, Sandra likes the Whey Gourmet protein, especially the Chocolate Moca.  However, the one I use most is either the Chocolate or Vanilla EAS from Sam's Club.  I really like them both.  However, the vanilla allows for variety by adding a teaspoon of SF Pudding, you choose the flavor.  I had lap-band in July 07 and find that I cannot eat a solid breakfast due to tightness.  Therefore, I have a protein shake.  This allows for me to get an early start on my water intake for the day also.  Here is my breakfast shake: 1 cup soy milk 1 cup water 2 scoops vanilla or chocolate protein 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter 1 banana 1 teaspoon SF Pudding if I use vanilla protein (various flavors) 4 ice cubes if I want it thickened I drink this shake at 6:00 a.m. and do not eat lunch until 10:30 a.m. Blessings, Bill

Hi, I also use the whey powder protein from  sam's they have choc-vanilla 90 scoops for $28.00,plus other protein bars, shakes etc, I put some in oatmeal, or other cereal,  fruits, I have never tried it in diet pudding, or cottage cheese, but I have heard others say it is good, I put 2 packets of sweetner in it,  sometime whip cream too,  take care, B
