So I got a date for the good old Psych eval. 2-29-08. I got the date yesterday then they gave me a second date of eval on 3-24-08. What ? Two dates for psych? Well I found out last night at my first support group meeting I will see him then take a psych test then go back a second time for the eval of the  tests. Well today the weather was really bad out so I called to see if there were any cancellations.... sure enough there were and I went today at 11:15AM and met with Dr. Sabapathy Then took a psych test. I will go back for a review of the test on 2-29-08. He told me he believes I am stable and he does not have any concerns after first meeting with me. He also said as long as the test results come back okay,  he would probably not have to see me again and would probably recommend me for surgery! So I left there and tried to see if the dietitian had any cancellations but they did not. so I still have to wait till 3-14-08 for that.

Hi, your moving right along, and losing weight too, the office told me the faster you get paper work  in keep appts, the faster you can have surgery, my problem is since they don't take medicare up front, my state ins coventry wants 6 months of appts with the doctor, I'm going to see if I  can use the last  two months, since I have seen and talk to the doctor about surgery/healthy food etc. I know it is just to see if you will follow through, they don't care if you lose weight or not, however, I'm trying to eat like I have already had the lap band, and I'm losing, I figure this way I can use these months to my advantage, I just need to drink more fluids, and I hate water, keep up the good work, take care, B
