I am not happy with that at all. It happened one time before and landed me in the hospital for 10 days in congestive heart failure. I KNOW potassium is nothing to mess around with.  It is 2.9 and 3.5 is normal, 2.5 is heart danger, so they had me take a lot today and also tomorrow, rechecking friday so prayers please.    I am on a potassium sparing diruetic, dyazide, and i didnt take it today because even though it isn't supposed to lower my potassium  it does.  Doc says it works that way in some people.  I just hope i dont see a huge jump in the scale but it doesnt matter, i will do the right thing when it comes to my health, not that I was doing something the doc didnt tell me to.  The swelling was very under control until i started the mushy food, then i bloated right up :)  I dont know if everyone goes through this or not, but thats when they had me start the fluid pill again, maybe it will be more controllable now, or not, i will just have to deal with it until i  have lost enough weight for it to be stable.   Thanks for listening and being here.. my one month checkup is on monday the 25th

wow Cindy hang in there and get well soon. My sister went thru that after surgery , Her potassium level dropped to 1.2 and she has never been on a fluid pill of any kind, they still dont know why it did that. She wound up in the hopital two different times for several days at a time. She was a sick girl for awhile. No Potassium isnt anything to fool around with, it was only by the grace of God that she didnt have a major heart attack when hers dropped so low. She had to take potassium daily for about 3 months i think may not have been that long but it seemed like a long time .  Be very carefull and try to keep that under control...will pray for you .
