Hey all new post-ops
Has anyone else gone through the third week stall that they talk about? Boy I sure am.I will be three weeks post op on Friday and in the last four days I have loss One pound!!! I have upped the protien ,I have upped the water and have been going to the fitness center and doing my walking and some weight resistance. Nothing seems to be working.I am hoping it is normal and next week the weight will start coming off again.
I mean I am not really complaining,I have loss 31 lbs. since surgery and 46 lbs. since my highest weight. So thats pretty good I think. Everyone keeps telling me they can really see it in my face.
So what is everyone else doing.Am I normal? Let me know please! Take Care, Tammy V.
yes Tammy you are normal. everyone goes thru that, hope you took your measurements before because your body is playing catch up right now and is probably losing inches. sounds like you are doing all the right things it will start up again, maybe be a slower loss but will lose just the same. after my 3rd week it quit losing so fast and was doing about 2 pounds a week. which is a good weight loss per week.....keep posting

Yes, I have.
I am 3 weeks out today and this last week has been really slow. And I have not cheated at all. I am having a hard time getting my fluids in so I don't know if that would make a difference or not. I sure hope it picks up again soon.
I can't believe you have already lost 31 lbs since surgury. I have only lost about 16 and my surgery was before yours. Oh well, as long as I am losing something I guess I should be happy.
By the way, my husband and I were both born & raised in Kirksville. My mom, grandparents and some aunt & uncles still live there. Small world.
I am one month out as of tomorrow and I have lost like 42 lbs since surgery. I can hardly eat anything and I don't get in all my fluids and I haven't been able to do any exercise since I had complications. I still feel very weak and tired (anemia). I haven't been able to return to work yet either. I just hope that I start feeling better and able to do more then I can now.
