got my date!

I called to get my surgery scheduled today.  They have room for me next Monday!!!   I'm nervously excited!!!

OMG!!  How exciting! That is sooo soon!  I wish mine went like that but I still have to wait!  Well CONGRATULATIONS!!!  Keep us updated!  Good Luck!

Thanks everyone, I certainly was hoping to get it done soon, hoping on a cancellation or something because I'm in nursing school and start clinicals in two weeks, but honestly wasn't holding my breath for it.  I guess if you can call it this, I got lucky with only having to do 6 days of liquid diet rather than thier required 2 weeks. I start it Tuesday morning. I made a mad dash last night to stores to try and find some stuff and look at vitamins.  I still need to research vitamins and quickly.   Amy

did you get a letter in the mail today saying that halprins last day is march 14th?  i was upset.  but o well i have eagon there and he is the one who did my surgery.  i saw halprin more then eagon though.  good luck and congrats!!!!!!  are you going to be at barnes?

I did get a letter that Halpin was leaving.  My surgery is actually with Eagon, I just haven't figured out a way to change it <--------over there yet.  I'll be at Barnes West.

i had eagon and even though he has no personality he is amazing in the operating room.  i have a family friend that is a doctor that learned how to do RNY from eagon and he said if anyone was going to do it that eagon was the one to go to.  he knows his stuff.  i go for my year check up march 25th so if you are there that day i will be at 1pm.  are you open or lap?  they had to open me b/c of my size but i knew way before surgery that i would be an open case.  good luck to you!!!!! britt
