Girls - Get properly fitted for a bra!

Finally at 6 months out and sick of not having a properly fitted bra Bobbi dragged me to Lane Bryants and I got fitted.  Have went from a 46DD to a 36DD.  Have to stay with the DD's for a while due to all the excess skin but I was shocked at how many inches I have lost.  Also have went froma 5X to a size 16 in slacks.  Talk about shock - I started crying at the store.  I haven't been in a 16 since junior high school. When your weight starts stabilizing a bit get fitted.  It makes such a differance. Take care - Shannon

well I guess a trip to Lane Bryants is next on my to do list! my girls are not supported very well these days and with the new job I have to have support! do the sales people help you? The sales people there are trained in how to fit you.  I felt at ease even with them giving you as much privacy as you need but as with most of us who had had surgery - what the heck as the "girls" need some support.  Did mention to them to turn the heat up in the fitting rooms!

Dillard's also has fitters.  I buy their brand of bra the Caberet.  Macy's also has fitters.  I get fitted about twice a year.

I highly recommend the Lingerie Boutique in Springfield.  They are a small shop that specializes in all sizes from the very tiny to the very big. to mastectomy.  I have found everything I have ever needed from strapless to sports bras to PJ's and robes!  I telleveryone I know about them... they can usually tell your size just from looking at you and what brand you need.  I have found the right brand for me.  The same sizes do not fit every person....I have learned that lesson. Every girl needs support!!!  Get fitted and you will be amazed at your self esteem!  Get fiited now and again as you get smaller! Tina
