Weight question

This may sound like a silly question but here goes. Ok before I left for the hospital I weighed my self and it was 344 lbs. The day I got home from the hospital it was 354 lbs.Water gain from the IV I assumed.So my question is. When tracking your weight loss since surgery would you use the 354 lbs that I accually weighed when I got home or the 344 lbs I know I weighed before surgery? As of this morning, which is 9 days since surgery, I weighed 332.4 lbs.So is that 11.6 lbs loss since surgery or 21.6 lbs loss since surgery? Either way it makes me happy!!! Just thought I'd ask someone elses opinion on this. I go Tues. 12th for my first follow up appointment with Dr. H. Then I should be able to move on to stage two and have something besides liquid. I dont know about everyone else but i count my weight loss from my highest weight, after all it is weight lost right?  Congradulations on the amount of weight loss either way you want to count it it is great.
