Just thought I would lt everyone know that I am now home from the hospital. The surgery went great - no complications. I have a touch of the flu but feeling better today. I am glad that the surgery is over and I can now start this new way of life.  I do have a question that some might be able to help me with. I am suppose to start taking my calcium citrate and prolcic (crushed) - any help on what to take them with to hide te taste? I thought about waiting until Wend when I go back in to get my drain removed andget ne orders for soft foods. But I think I should start right away.

Welcome home!!!  Congrats!!! Yep, crushed meds in applesauce, jello, pudding, protein shake or whatever.  I used chewables, so they tasted better than regular ones crushed.
