MY FIRST NSV... wow

    I used to take diazide *fluid pill* 2 times a day for the last 18 years and then 1 lasix or so a week when i was still swelling, along with this came 2 to 4 prescription potassium pills a day, and SO FAR, since surgery i have taken NONE< ZERO of any of it..    All i can say is wow because 2 years ago i quit taking it and gained 22 lbs in a week, so this is amazing to me.. I know i am getting no salt though, i have 2 days left before my month on the liquid diet is up so i hope when i add regular food back i am still able to stay off the fluid pills.. if i have to take 1 or 2 a week that would be ok, but not regularly....   time is flying now that surgery is over..  blessings cindy

Cindy that is great. I was on high blood pressure meds before surgery and had been for a long time and havent taken not one since surgery. Hope the same for you and your fluid pills. This surgery is really great for things like this. God Bless
