Oh! Tammy I'm so sorry your feeling so bad, and I understand your thinking what did I do to myself.  I promise it does get better, it just takes longer for some then it does other we are all not the same.  First even if you think you are drinking all the time keep drinking, it's more like sip sip sip.  That is the most important thing you can do.  Try and walk a little don't just lay there, you need to get up and move if nothing more then a walk around and around the house.  If you are feeling well enough try and go to the store.  I know sounds crazy huh, but you need to get out of the house and move and sip sip sip.  The more you move the more you will fell like moving.  Don't let the depression get to you, if you are really feeling bad and can't move then you need to see the doctor.  It is very important that you take care of yourself, and the buyers remorse comes with it.  You will be feeling better soon and wondering what you were so up set about.  I hope you feel better soon and if I can do anything to help you I will be glad too.   Marylin

Tam, All this will pass. Just keep to what your book says on what to do. Get plenty of excerize. Drinking is fine. Just make sure you get all/or most of your protein in for the day..I know its hard to do but you will feel better after awhile. I will pray for you.. God Bless Craig Lee

Hey Girlfriend!!! You have been given some of the best advise. All suggestions are great. Sip, sip, sip your water and then sip some  more. This is one of the times I told you about, when you are saying " What was I thinking?"  This will pass. Give your self some time. As far as the food withdrawals. allow yourself a bite. Thats all you can handle right now anyway. I say that because it was allowed when I had my surgery, but, the rules may have changed by now.  Please do what Dr. H says, he does know best. Hang in there the prize is worth it!!!!!
Hugs; Barbara

Tammy my first 2 weeks sugar free popcycles were my best friend, I ate those things like crazy and the chewing of them gave me something more solid in my mouth to make me think i was eating something.

Everyone is right about sipping and WALKING just get up and move around , good for depression too.  I will be praying for you and follow that diet to the letter. you will soon feel better.  Love and Hugs

Tammy,   I felt great at first then went through what you did, although the need to eat hasn't hit me yet,*hope it stays away*..  I think what we are feeling and have felt is very normal for us, i am just a week out and you arent that far, so be easy on yourself and remember you did this to be healthy...  the next few months will change us so much that there will be no doubt it was worth it..   If you need to talk message me and i will give you my number.. cindy

Tammy, I hope you are feeling better this morning.  Everyone is right - your regret and wondering "what have I done" will soon fade as you feel better and the weight starts to come off. It is so very important to follow what the doc says.  During this first two weeks drinking and moving are your two most important things to do! SIP and WALK!!!  You will soon feel much better!
