WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

Got a chance to get online for a minute this evening. The super bowl is on so cant stay long.  We will be leaving for home early in the morning and hopefully be home tomorrow after noon.  That is if we can drive that far , I really hope so even if we have to stop for a couple of hours layover should be home tomorrow night.  Been eating some good food from my friend that lives in La. just leaving off the rice that they put everything over. but will be glad to get  back home and get back on my routine, but you know i still have lost 2 pounds since we have been gone. Yea!!!!for me lol  I now have lost 112 pounds total .  Has anyone heard from Bev since she got home the second time from being in the hospital. I hope she is doing better now and her temp is gone. I know the last time i saw a post from her she was having buying remorse. Hang in there Bev it will get better.  All the other newbies. and anyone that has a birthday since i left Mo. hope everything is going well for all of you .  We have had a great time but am glad the journey is about over and will be home tomorrow.  Is it still cold there? How about the snow is it still on the ground?  Love and Hugs to all of you. 

Jan, it is great to hear you are still losing!  I've been stuck for so long it's not funny, but I've not given up!

Jan I'm still here just haven't felt much like posting.  I got out of the hospital for the 2nd time last Wed. I'm still running a temp. have been since surgery day so it's been very frustrating.  I am feeling some what better just having problems getting enough protein in and all my vitamins sometimes it takes me all day to get just my vitamins in they are so gross tasting!!!!  Your right I did have buyers remorse for a while and still feel that way but not as much as I did.  I'm sure that once I get through this and get to feeling better and losing I will feel better about my decision to have the surgery.  I'm just taking one day at a time and praying that the next day will be even better. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers from everyone on this board. Bev~

Hey Jan and All,        Life is good here in Kirksville! I'm feeling really well.I'm getting in my fluids and vitamins and walking every hour.Got alittle disappointed yesterday when I got home and weighed myself. I had gained 10 lbs since I had left home on thursday ,but I know it's just from all the fluids they pump in you. This morning I was back down 3.4 lbs. So it will all come back off.They still want me to take my one blood pessure pill but because it has XL behind the name I can't cru**** so Margie told me to just break it up and take little pieses thru out the day. I'm gonna talk to my PCP and see if she can just perscribe me a smaller dose.         My kids are doing great in Nebraska. They are even talking about buying a house there. I'm hoping they will be coming for a visit the weekend of the 16th and 17th.       Hope all are doing fine. Take care and God bless, Tammy V.
