Good Morning, Missouri Peeps! Well, I did NOT have a Gastric Fiscula.  I had an Internal Hernia.  Dr. H repaired it Monday using 4 of my ports from my rny back in March.  I came home yesterday and am feeling pretty good.  I can't lift anything over 10 lbs till I see him next Tuesday and I can't drive until Saturday.  He also told my husband I couldn't do any housework for the next 2 years.  LOL!  My DH said that was okay with him as long as I could keep cooking!  Thank you for your prayers.  God is GOOD ALL THE TIME!   Debbie D.

Hey glad you are feeling better... that 2 years off from houeswork sounds like a good deal. lol  I hope you dont have anymore problems. So far i havent had any thing happen like so many people have of course that doesnt mean it cant happen. no matter how far you are out.  Take care of yourself and do as Dr. H. says even the housework part.  Jan

Those internal hernias are painful!  I'm glad you got it fixed and are on the road to recovery!  And personally, I would take two years off of housework and THREE years off from cooking.  Just to be safe.
