Hello Everyone, Sorry I haven't posted in a while.   I have been so busy since I started back to school and my son was admitted in the hospital last Monday.  ( he is bipolar, so he ends up in the hospital numerous times a year ) Well ever since I woke up this morning I have been having pains under my ribs.  I took some liquid Tylenol, thinking I was just getting crampy and due to start my period soon.  Well the pain didn't go away.  I later took the liquid pain medicine from my surgery.  It helped some but the pain didn't go away.  It was bearable but not gone.  Well I have still had this pain all day.  Its like under my ribs  going across my chest.  Like it may be above my stomach.  I told my husband and he thinks it may just be more healing and the weather making me really uncomfortable.   Any advice or information would be appreciated.  I really am in pain. Thanks, Kelly

Do you still have your gallbladder?  Sounds a lot like gall stones.  Either way - if you're in that much pain, you need to call your doctor.  {{{hugs}}}  Keep us posted.

Thanks Traci, It is not as bad as it was earlier.  I have just been feeling so good since surgery.  I haven't had any pains like this.  I will keep an eye on it.  If it is still there later I will call the doc.  PS.  I finally figured out how to update my ticker. Kelly

If it continues I'd call Dr. Hornbostel or at least email Marge. It could be discomfort from "healing" --- I dealt with this for weeks afterward. Keep us updated on your progress! Amanda
