What's happening Sat. 1/26/08

Morning Missouri peeps! Since Jan's on vacation, Janet's still battling illness I think, I thought I'd start the thread today!  It's been a very long and rough two weeks here at our house.  My 6 year old had surgery a week ago Tuesday and it's a rough road.  Her surgery went fine, but literally the weekend before her surgery every one else in the household got strep.     Then, my 8 yr old son, got the flu, on top of his strep, so he was home the whole entire week last week from school - so we (my hubby and I) were taking care of him and my 6 yr old, while we were recovering from strep ourselves.   Then this week, the kiddos are finally better and back to school, and my hubby and I get our son's flu.    Like a said, a crazy couple of weeks, and the reason for my absence on the board.  Anywho - I'm feeling better.  So let's see how everyone else is doing today: Bev (cotonmom2):  keep her in your prayers.  Newly post-op, an ER trip with a UTI.  Not a fun run out the starting gate, but it looks like she's finally on her way to good health and the losing side of life!  Dilute those juices girl!  I'm betting that could be part of your issues you posted about.  Gayle (nanagayle):  Congrats on making into OH Magazine for your WLS Achievers Support Group!  Medicaid/Medicare:  check this pinned thread for a listing of doctors.  If you know of any doctors that could be added to this list, just reply to the thread and post that info, it would be very helpful.  I think that's everyone since the thread from yesterday.  I hope everyone is doing well!  Post and let us know how you're doing - we'd love to hear from you. 

I'll finally get my surgery date this coming Wednesday. I'm starting to get very nervous. Cold feet. I'm glad I have a therapist that specializes in gastric bypass patients and that I'm going to see her today.
