I am home and feeling better

It was a rough week but I'm finally home and starting to feel better.  I'm still pretty sore but at least we got to the end of things with my fever.  I ended up in the ER yesterday running 101.1 temp. come to find out I have a UTI from the cathator.  They gave me some liquid Batrium and I think that is helping however it taste so nasty!  I have 8 incisions which I thought was a lot have to ask Dr. H about that Tues. when I have to go back to see him.  I think they released me from the hospital too soon because the entire time I was there I was running a temp.  I'm trying to get in all my liquids but it's hard.   Bev

Bev..welcome to the losers bench...When I got home from WLS...Someone called me a loser...anyother time I would have taken offense to that but It sure sounded good to me...lol....Praise God you're doing ok ...Things will get better. You're over the hardest part now just enjoy losing and feeling better each day...God Bless...Craig Lee

Bev So glad you are feeling better.  Its only going to get better from here.  In six months its going to be a faint memory as you are shrinking away! I agree that getting the fuids in are hard! Take care of yourself and I'll be praying for you! Renee

Hi Bev So glad you have the surgery behind you now. I know you are glad about that to. Hope you get to feeling better. I am hoping to have mine sometime probably in March or early April.  All the testing is getting to me but it is something that has to be done. Good luck on your journey. Keep us informed.

Go**** is so nice to see you posting here on the board.  I just had to get on tonight to see if there was something about you.  Our CP has not been working well, so I have not been able to get on.  I will post about the meeting tomorrow morning.  Hope to see you there, but dont pu**** if you dont feel up to it.  Welcome home!!!!   Colette
