New ( dr malley)

Well not totally new, but I dont post often and I thought I would say HI!.  I am in the Kansas City area and would like to know a little bit more about meetings in the area. I am pre opt but I am only waiting on the insurance approval.  I am very excited about this journey and feel that this will be the begining of the life I have only dreamed about.  I am lucky to have a great husband that is totaly great with this.  He had even started loosing weight so that he could get fit with me.  He is ready for this life style change. Any information that any one is willing to share would be great.  I have Dr. Malley for my surgen and I think he is so great.  I love his hair!!!   LOL.  If anyone has info about the dr that would be helpfull to. I have been checking out the boards on the site for a few weeks now and I have to say It is great to find a place that accepts me for me (weight and all) and support me with the decision to better my life. thank you all for being here. 

Dr. Malley ROCKS!!!!    I can not say enough good things about him!!!   And yes, I too love his hair!!!  I like many others have a "secret crush" on him!!  LOL He is a wonderful surgeon, and his follow up care is the best!!!!   Good Choice!!! 

Welcome to the Missouri board!  I'm on the St Louis side, so can't help ya with info in your area, other than to direct you to the Support Groups tab the top of the ObesityHelp page and that may help you find a support group near you.
