Hello All, I had my first egg today.  MMM Good!  It was sunny side up (yolk soft).  I think I got the name right.  I had my 1 week post-op on Thursday.  I now weigh 245, well as of Thursday.  I was really good to move up to soft foods.  I didn't eat as much as I was allowed though yesterday.  Just not real hungry.  Just thirsty.  I always have my little mug with me.  I was anxious to have an egg this morning.  I took like 30 minutes to eat it just to make sure I didn't have any problems.  It went down real good.  Kelly

I bet it was good!  I still have a love hate relationship with eggs:  I know they're good for me, but my picky pouch doesn't always tolerate them well.

Hi Kelly, I"m a month out and I love my eggs. I've gotten them down to an art. I got tired real fast of scrambled, so I started putting cheese in it ( more protein), I put sliced real small ham slices with the cheese and egg, corn beef hash with an egg, eggs with salsa ( my pouch is pretty tough I'm finding out) and an egg in my grits and cheese. So I'm lovin" eggs again. Now I'm up to other things. I tried chicken salad from walmart ( the pre-made) and I got the dry heaves a few times and I laid on my bed for a while and I was fine, but no more chicken salad for me unless I make it myself.Glad to hear you're doing well. You take care.
