Dr. Malley

has anyone ued or heard anything about Dr. Malley in Overland Park, KS?? Im new here and just beginning my journey. Thx Jan

Jan,  I have not heard anything about Dr. Malley.  However, I highly recommend Dr. Hoehn at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.  He did my wife's Rny two years ago and she lost 150 pounds in a year.  I had lapband July 2, 2007 and have lost 72 pounds.  It is an excellent program with good support systems in place. Thx Bill. I knew of Dr. Hoehn and his skill level but then when researching I came across Hew Hope in OP, KS and it 's closer and a great new facility. I actually attended a seminar this morning and absolutely like Dr. Malley a lot. I attended a seminar with Dr. Hoehn a couple years ago but then my insurance wouldnt cover so did nothing else. He also is a great surgeon and person. Thx  Jan

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Malley!!!!  I was banded by him 2 days ago.    He has the BEST bedside manner I have ever expierenced!!!  His staff is AWESOME!!!  They are ALL so very kind....you are treated like a queen!!! His follow-up is GREAT!!!  You have a 1 week post-op visit and then a MONTHLY standing appointment for the entire first year!!!  He is very aggressive with his fill schedule.  They have monthly support group meetings as well as monthly nutrician meetings available! I have 1 friend who was banded by him a year ago and is at goal with 127 pound loss, and another friend who was banded by him shortly after Thanksgiving and she goes in for her first fill on Monday, Jan 14th.  Both of them absolutely adore him and his practice as much as I do!!!
