I was at Barnes and Noble during my holiday shopping and noticed all the cook books.  I was attemping to find some SF desserts, so I picked up a diabetic cook book.  They contained sugar!  So an idea struck me, and I need direction and help.  We need a WLS cook book, and I plan to include a whole section on protein drinks.  I would like for people to send me recipes, and I will put their name at the end of that page.  Is there any legal issues?  I have alot work to do here, but I think this is something really needed.  What do you all think, and will you contribute?

There are WLS specific cookbooks on the market, I have at least one.  That said, don't see why there couldn't be another one.  Good luck with this project!

I was surprised that the diabetic cook books were useing sugar also.  I too thought of doing a WLS cook book.  I have several  of these cook books and there are lots of sites where you can get sf and wls recipes. I would suggest you us a cookbook company like morris press. Also, I would suggest trying the recipes out  first. I did a cook book  with out trying out the recipes submitted and some of them could have used some improvement.  Listing protien and sugar grams would also be a good addition.  Best of luck. How ever you do it know that it is a lot of work.  Happy New Year.  P.S. Be sure to check out Splenda.com for great SF recipes. Also natural alternative sweetening sources like Agauva necter would be awesome to have.  i love using this in baked items as well as amond flour in place of some of the wheat flour when cutting out white flour. Amond milk is another great ingredient to use to make shakes and up your protien.  If your interested in making this a joint effort, contact me.

Try Susan Maria's book from her website BariatricEating.com  it is a memoir and a bunch of recipes that she developed.
