WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Im telling you I have about had all the dreary days I can take, I don’t think it would be so horrible if I was able to do things but since I cant and all I can do is sit and look outside anyway, im about to go batty or more so .

 

After P.T. today I said I cant take it anymore so we left the house about 11:am went to Forsyth to the lic. Bureau and got the new tags for the boat trailer. Then went again to the appliance store to show Joe the gas range I want. , simple very simple with sealed burners.  I am sill waiting on the elect repair place to get back with me about a possibility that the Whirlpool might replace it since it was a mal function that caused it to explode like that, no matter what they said it shouldn’t have done that.

So we are waiting to see how that turns out.

Then we went to Lowes and the same stove that we looked at our little appliance store here in Forsyth , at lowes was almost 100.00 more. Now that isnt right.

 

Went to Alltel and got a new phone for me , Ive not had a camera phone before but this one is. Should be neat learning how to use that. Lol

If I get the rebate back that im suppose to it will only cost me 15.00 .

 

Had lunch at a rest in Branson and then went to Joes doctors appointment. By then I was complettly worn out, by the time I got home I was almost crying with pain. Got into the house and got the heating pan on my leg and pain pills down.

 

So glad that Lana is ok and already at home wow. Didn’t know that she would be going home today too. So many surgeries anymore they act like they are nothing.

Lana I hope you are doing well sweetie and that this will really help the pain I know you were in.

 

Traci how is your new puppy? I know it has to be adorable.  I hope everything works out great with the baby. What is its name?

 

Everyone must be getting ready to go out partying Sunday night lol

Don’t think I will make it , lol im usually asleep here lately by 10 pm lol

 

Tomorrow im getting Joe to bring in some of my Christmas decoration boxes and start taking down the Christmas decorations. Not in the mood to keep it all up much longer.

I am tired of these dreary days too. Today, however I got out of the house and kept quite busy I had a Dr. appt. YEAH YEAH YEAH, HIT MY 130 POUNDS LOST MARK (on the dr. scales). Got my B12 shot, got scheduled for a CAT scan, drank that wonderful barium junk. Made an appt with the surgeon, for my hernia and took my son to the mall and got him new glasses, got a ticket for not turning my blinker on, (when I really did, just didnt know that the bulb was burned out) and came home and crashed. I have laundry to do, house to take care of and sewing to do. But tomorrow is another day and I am going to listen to the doctor and take it easy. Have a great day all............................

Morning everyone Ugh - darn insomnia!  I have been awake since about 1am; around 2:30 or so finally gave up and got up.  Well my two girls must have heard me or the cats one and now they are wanting to get up.  Uh no - it's 3:00 in the morning - GO BACK TO BED!!!   I need to bathe all the dogs later today, I may need a nap before I attempt that.  The puppy is doing great.  His name is Henry.  (click to see a picture :)  ) We are not party people.  I go to bed too early, so we'll stay in like we do every year.   Well, have a great day everyone. 

Hello Jan and all Well I finally got my sleep study done although I don't know how I will do as I didn't sleep but about 2 hrs. The tech said it doesn't matter whether you slee*****t. Now whats up with that. She had to put oxygen on me and that stuffed my nose up and then I really couldn't sleep. She said my sats dropped down some so now they will probably say I have sleep apnea. Always something but at least it is one more test out of the way. Just have 2 more to do.  Jan glad you are doing good with your knee. My moms was pretty sore for quite a while, she said it felt like there was a tight rubber band around her knee but she didn't have the same kind you had.  She sure was happy with it after all the pain was gone... Traci your puppy is sure cute. I am such an animal lover. I have 3 dogs, 3 cats and about 20 birds. Have to really watch the cats lol...So far they don't bother my birds. I have an african grey, a parakeet, l lonely male  canary(love to hear him sing) a lovebird and the rest are ****atiels.. I am not a party person either but I do stay up late. My grandkids are living with me (12 and 10)and they like to stay up and watch the ball come down in times square so I will get some grape juice and get out my fancy glasses and have a toast with them. They like to do that... Is Janet still having computer problems or is she still sick.. Sure do miss you Janet...Love reading all your post..Come back soon..... Well guess I will get off here. I am saying prayers for everyone having surgery and for those that have already had their surgery wls or other..get well soon.... Happy New Year to all........  

Hellooo Mo! not much going on around here this week. yesterday we spent 2 hours making tie-dye shirts for my 5 nephews and 2 neices and than a couple for Pixie and Catriona and a pair of socks for me. today its rinse and cure day and wrap them for tonight when we will all get together for the last Christmas party...than I can put my tree up. Love the tree as long as there are gifts under it...not so much after they are gone. I am very ready for my house to be back in some kind of order.

love the Holidays but the choas is a bit much sometimes. went to the unemployment office and got signed up....I am officialy looking for a job. not that I have any skills....oh and I had a great WOW moment... I went to the Joplin Globe also...I worked there for 3 yrs before I went on disability...the folks over there knew me when I was at my heavyest over 500lbs several of the girls who worked there back when are still working there now and not one of them knew who I was when I walked in. I had to tell them who I was...and than my exsupervisor didnt believe me. so that was fun for me....if ever I had any doubts about the changes that are happening... tonight I see my nephews and neice for the first time since Aug and their father hasnt seen me since last yr at this time....so that should be interresting. now I must run to the store...am making a cheeseball for snacking on and mom is making no-bakes.... want to hear something awful.....sugar doesnt seem to affect me like fats do. I hate it...coz now that I know I want to try all of my favorites again. but Im not gonna.....I will resist! of course once all this crap is outa here itll be much easier for me not to want it. what isnt eaten tonight is going home with the kids!  glad to hear all the surgeries went well and folks are home recouporating! I do hope Janet feels better soon and Mel gets home safely from her trip!   Nutti

Howdy Yall.... Wanted to drop in while I had a few and say Howdy and wish everyone a Fantastic New Year!!! Man am I glad Christmas is finally over!!! This year it was more hectic than ever and I was out right worn out! If all goes well we are going to a friends house to play game and snack our way thru the new year. Joe wont make it till about 10 or so since he has to work but he will be there to bring in the new year with us. Then everyone is coming to my house new years day for our big new years dinner...Of course we are having the famous hog jowl and blackeyed peas..mmmmmm. Probably have to throw in some pork chops or something cause we got a few that dont like the jowl.  Jan...Sorry things have been so gloomy for you. I hope to get my Christmas stuff down this weekend too but will have a house full so don't know if I will get it done or not.  Lana...Glad things went well with your surgery.. Hope you get well soon!
