I hope your Christmas day was a good one. Joe and I got dressed and went to Branson ,going to watch a movie and when we got there the only one that we wanted to see.(Bucket List) we couldn’t find so we went to Wallgreens. Found some really good bargains. I needed a heating pad for my knee found a great one for 40.00 that has attachments to be able to use it and hold it just about anywhere on your body , well my body now, it wouldn’t have reached around me a couple of years ago. Lol

Both got new sun glasses and I got some new reading glasses, then found lots of good presents for next year. Starting my box already lol

My granddaughter and I are getting up tomorrow morning and going shopping for some things.

We also went to Outbacks and had lupper, (lunch and supper ) combined lol

I got the appetizer of gator tail and ate Joes salad from his meal I brought most of the gator tail home with me lol sure is good but is fried so I don’t eat much of that stuff.

We came home and rented a movie on pay for view and I sat with my leg propped up with the new heating pad on it. We rented  Chuck and Larry.  I think that is the name of it, really cute movie.

Tomorrow we are going to sit down and decide about vacation. Or at least I hope we do.

Joe said he is more than ready to get out of

Before I forget I talked to Janets daughter , Megan this afternoon and she said her mom has been really sick but now  Mike is so sick and they think he has pneumonia. So lets keep Janets household and Mike in prayer that they all get well soon .

Also today the 26th is Janets birthday. I don’t know if she will get oh here or not, I think she is having computer problems again too. Maybe we could include her computer in our blanket prayer over her house.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANET….WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH.

SCOTT: wow 160 pounds lost, that is amazing. I hope you had a wonderful and great Christmas and that this next year brings all good things to you.

TRACI: hope the holiday spent with your inlaws was as good as that can be. And that the kids continued to be excited all thru the day.

Good morning everyone!  I hope you all had a good Christmas - I know I sure did.    Jan I got a giggle out of your "lupper" - we say the same thing.  Well a busy day here, my hubby is going to be moving my office upstairs to my sewing room.  I have my grandbaby today and my friend Kathy is coming to visit.  I also have a ton of laundry to do and the children and my husband and I all got new bed sheets from my mom (she LOVES high thread count sheets ) and so I'm changing bed sheets today too.  Busy - busy! Have a great day everyone.

Hey Jan and All,        Guess what I got for Christmas.......SICK. I had the flu or something. I spent the entire day in bed. No fun at all. I still feel a little weak. The biggest bummer of it all is yesterday was to be the last day that I could eat anything I wanted for awhile. And I couldn't eat anything. No last supper for me.LOL So today I am starting my liquid diet, which is probally the best on my stomach right now anyway.       The reason we are moving again is because the house that we moved into had been empty for two and a half years before we moved in.And some college guys lived here before that. Well they payed us to come in and clean and paint the place up. So we did .Well now that we are in here we found out that the electric wiring is all messed up. And the entire house is on one breaker so you can't have very many things pluged in at once or it blows the breaker. Also the water heater doesn't work right. The house is owned by two couples and a lady who all inherited it, and none of them want to put any money in it to fix it up.Plus the laundry is in the basement and I can't do stairs to well. So a friend of ours bought a house so we are gonna rent it from him.        Well I better get off of here and get some house work done. I will let you know how the liquid diet is going. Take Care and God Bless, Tammy V.

My journey to live life to the fullest!!!

Hi Jan and all; I have been lurking lately. We did have a great Christmas as always. Lots of family around. Santa visited on Christmas eve and of course the Grandkids and Great nephew (1 yr old) was wide eyed. It was really fun. My youngest granddaughter (7 yr old) sit on his lap and told him she wanted money (thats what her brothers told him) He asked how much and she thought and said a dollar. Well, I had my son leave her a dollar with a note on it from Santa. When we got there for dinner she came running to me with the dollar and said look "He was the real one!" Made our day!!! Wish all of you a great new year!!!

Hey OH Board, We had a great Christmas. The kids are happy, I'm happy and Daddy's happy. We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and said a special prayer at dinner for Him as we celebrated his birthday. We ended up going to get some movies too. I missed the snow cold Christmas, but it is nice that the kids got to go out and try their new goodies. JAN: Thank you for your kind words and I will heed your words. My will has always been strong and this time I'm going to be doing things different. I've lost 10 lbs. now.Two weeks out which is the least they want and after the holidays I'm going back to the gym and get  to exercising again. I'm feeling so much better, so it'll be easier now. JANET: Bless your heart .A sick house again. I'm sending out prayers for your family and computer. You take care of yourself and let us know everything is OK with you....Happy Birthday to you too.  To everyone else God bless and have a great weekend. Spent 3 hours xmas eve afternoon in  the Cox Walnut Lawn Urgent Care center with a sprained foot from stepping off the curb wrong at pennys in the mall in Springfield.  I did make the drive as far as Columbia coming home with my sis & Dad meeting me there for sis to drive me the rest of the way home.  Other wise I had a great time with ds, dil & the grandkids! Went to Christmas eve service with them at their church then spent a couple of hours at her parents just visiting. I left spf. about 9:30 yesterday to start home.   I forgot to tell you all I really found some good clothes at the Goodwill on Battlefield.  I spent $20 for 2 bags stuffed with tops sweaters, scrubs etc... You all take care! Shannon
