Got my surgery date .

I really thought they lost my chart, and I couldn't get hold of them over the phone either.  But I'm moving again.  Had to have a stress test and lung test done before seeing Dr. Suttmoeller, which I did. Also have to see Dr. Halstenson, even though I have already seen someone before in June. Since I asked for Dr. Scott in May when I first started and he's out of Columbia now, they gave me Dr. de la Torre. I feel good about him too. Surgery date is Jan 28th. Wow, i't right around the corner! ~ Helen

Congrats on the date. Why are they having you see Dr Halstenson? Is she pretty expensive? My insurance won't pay for that.

Thanks for all the happy replies. The reason I have to see Dr. Halstenson   is because in 2003, I had lap band surgery. In 2006 it was taken out due to slippage. The rules are "you have to see two psychologist if you already had some sort of gastric surgery before. Now I'm asking for Rny.  And yes, I'm complaining about paying again, but I have to do it. ~ Helen
