Been busy around my neck of the woods----1st fill, new job

Yep, had my first band fill today--was nervous but the team doing it was really good:) Im down from 347.5 to 323.0----so thats Ummm  what? 24 pounds since October 5th. I can handle that! Lost about 4 inches in my waist, 2 around the bra line YEAH  :) and dropped 2 scrub pant sizes! Im 5 weeks out and now to see what my fill does for me. They put in 3cc's--which should do pretty good. I also start my new job Dec 3rd up at DePaul---:)  Im going to work there on the 5th floor as a nurse!! Im excited.  They gave me good care when I was there and with my care after surgery--so I decided with even losing the 24 pounds--it has given me enough to where I feel good and can now go back to being a floor nurse!  So now I can check on other WLS people when they go to DePaul ! SO alot going on----going to be gone this weekend---going to Independence MO to see my husband and take the 3 kids to see daddy.  Pray I dont run into show or ice on my return Sunday afternoon! Hope everyone is doing ok----Im just been busy!! Love to all and to all newbies and the "losers"--  bet thats the only time we love being called a loser!  LOL Love Amber
