i can now drink...

hi Mo, I am happy to announce i can now drink WATER without it hurting my tummy. Thank GOD!! i thought i would never have water again. It is so delicious. I decided to try it again yesterday. so i took a sip and braced myself for that pain... nothing happened. i waited 2 more minutes and took 2 sips again no pain. i was dancing on the ceiling i was so happy. ok maybe not the ceiling but im happy about it. Its been 3 weeks since my surgery almost 4 and i can drink water. what a relief. Thanks guys for all the prayers!!

oh Im so happy for you! water doesnt cause me pain but I cannot stand the taste of it now. before WLS I was a BIG water drinker!  always had a big glass of icewater with me. now I can no longer tolerate the taste....its better now. if Im someplace and have no koolaid to mix with it I can still sip....but it has to be a Have to situation!   I also could not drink Lemonade either after WLS it left a metallic taste in my mouth but that has also improved! ice chips were my best friend after surgery for about 2 months. Im so glad you can drink water again! congrats! nutti

Thanks Nutti, i missed me some water.! now i go to bed with it wake up and get more and its is my best friend all day!!
