Hi everyone, its been awhile since I have been on here.  I had surgery December 4, 2006 and since then have lost 100 - 105 pounds (according to what day it is).  Is this normal?  I thought I should have lost more, but also I have had some problems.  Before the surgery, I found out I needed a total hip replacement.   Everything was fine until May of this year.  I was losing and then all of a sudden I could barely move.  So in July went back to the surgeon and they decided it was time to have surgery.  I had surgery October 12, 2007 and hope now I can get back to exercising and hope this will help.  I personally wast to lose 50-55 more pound that would get me to 195 and I would be happy.Do yall think since I was not able to function well since May that that has stunted my weight loss? Any suggestions will be a great help.

yes it probably did , if i were you and were able to exercise now i would go back to the beginning of what you ate at first and go thru all of those phases as well as drink lots of water and exercise, it will probably jump start you into losing agin. Your body has gotten comfortable where it is and thinks it is a nice place to stop but evidently you dont so see if all of that will help ....be sure and nothing white to eat. keep the carbs down lots of protein and lots of water.
