WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Let see…Happy Thanksgiving!

1.                  It was fun to talk to everyone on Monday night.  Lana I am sorry you were freezing outside while we talked!  I am looking forward to the 26^th!

2.                  Tae Kwan Do tournament – my son got 3^rd in sparring and 4^th in weapons forms.  Very tough group of boys!  When the first three come out and score 7, 8, & 9 out of nine…the rest of the boys don’t have a chance!  The team competition was impressive.  Our group of 8-13 year old kids (who have been together for 2 months) came in 3^rd out of 8 teams, all with at least two adults, including two groups of all black belts!  Even the judges were impressed with our group!  Didn’t hurt that one of the judges was our coach!  I am very proud of my son and the whole group that competed!  The rest of the day was pure torture.  The team competition was suppose to start at 10:15 ran late and didn’t finish until Noon.  Now they are running a full hour behind.  My 2 and 4 year old didn’t appreciate it….Now, my son’s staging was scheduled for 2:15 and didn’t actually start until 3.  Competition too****il 5!!!  Again, no nap for the littles and they didn’t want to sleep in the car on the way home!!!  Luckily they all slept late Sunday morning.

3.                  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  We are on our way to Minnesota (in the snow, again!) for the weekend with my parents and friends. It will be busy with Dinner, shopping, Christmas photos, and a 40^th birthday party for a college friend. (then drive home again!!!)  At least dinner will be WLS friendly.  Dad said we will have Moose, Elk, Venison, and of course turkey…plenty of protein for me!

4.                  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you this holiday season.

Gotta go find the 2 year old with the pen…I am sure she will color something that is not washable.  Its TKD night for the oldest and the 4 year old went with dad to get the oil changed on the car!  Ahh, its too quiet!
