Hello all! I am still trucking along.  Hopper has had four weeks of chemo and is doing much better.  Our vet stated she is in remission and now we just need to complete her treatment.  She is getting her energy back and is even playing with our holyterror of a foster puppy.   I am doing okay.  Slowly trucking along which is what is expected.  Still happy with my band and wouldn't change it.  Went to Dixie stampede last night for my niece's birthday..wow...not a diet friendly place!  LOL

Other than that, I have been working, working with the  dogs, and enjoying things.

hope to see everyone at the support group meetings.  I still read the group to keep updated on everyone but just don't post as much.

Awesome new about Hopper!!!!!  I went to Dixie Stampede this summer for the first time ever.  Girl - you could have knocked me over with a feather when they brought out the WHOLE CHICKEN and stuck it in front of me!!  My girlfriend busted out laughing when she saw my face when they sat the bird in front of me.  Good grief, I had only nibbled on all the food they'd brought me before that - then a whole stinkin' chicken?!!!!!  Goodness!!!  Who needs a whole chicken?!!     BUT, the food was still good (even if it wasn't the most post-op friendly) and I liked the entertainment.

Jennifer,
Sounds as if you are doing well. So glad Hopper is feeling better. We have missed you at group - hope you can make it soon. I haven't been to Dixie Stampede but that is on my list of things to do someday!!
Hugs,
