Countdown to Surgery

Today is day one of my 10 day pre-op liquid diet and so far so good.  I started this journey in January and finally my surgery is a week from Thursday.  I have an appointment with anesthesia this Wednesday then I have an appointment with my surgeon and pre-op labs next Tueday.   I'm so ready for this and I think it was harder on my family than myself knowing that Sunday dinner would be changed forever.  My husband fixed a full blow-out breakfast yesterday and we had my favorite mexican dinner last night.  It was all good, but I'm satisfied and happy that all that food is behind me.  I'm ready to be a loser. I'll check back in after my tests and get any last minute advice. God Bless Everyone, Trudy
