HOW MUCH MORE CAN I TAKE

 DONT UNDERSTAND WHY DO PEOPLE DO THINGS WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT WHEN ITS THERE JOB.  ITS TAKING MY GIRL FOREVER TO GET PAPERWORK SENT AND THEY KEEP GIVEN US BULL. I WONDER IF THEY REALLY CARE OR THERE FOR JUST THE MONEY CUZ THEY DONT HAVE TO SEE THE DISAPPOINTMENT IN MY GIRL FACE.  I DONT KNOW HAVE THE TIME WHAT TO SAY TO COMFORT HER OR PUT IT AT EASE.  DO YOU KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THAT IS TO HAVE NO WORDS FOR YOUR LOVE ONE BUT LISTEN AND HOPE THE CEST. I  SOMETIMES JUST WANT TO GO UP THERE AND RAISE HELL TO GET IT ON THE BALL BUT WHAT WOULD THAT DO BUT ADD MORE PROBLEMS SO I AM CLUELESS

Hi there...my friend and I are going thru the same thing ...we're both gonna get lap-bands done hopefully around the same time in Columbia.  Seems like there's ALWAYS some excuse......Always the 'run around'. I've had ALL my paperwork in for a while now, and all I can hear is..."We're just waiting to hear back from your insurance."  Geez! All they gotta do is make a CALL for crying out loud! Ask a simple Yes or NO??? (When I KNOW the answer is gonna be YES!)  I know it's not much for consoling words, but let your girl know that we're all in the same boat, and it's not fair...we all feel like they're draggin' their feet....BUT the day WILL come. I'm here close to you all if she wants to talk! Maybe we can vent our frustrations together...  Tonya

its a process and the waiting is the hardest part! so while you are waiting do some things to get yourself ready for surgery and your new way of eating. its going to be harder than you both realize! for you just as much as her!  get small dish to eat from, baby spoon to eat with...do not lol because does actually work...another tip is to get a min timer from a game and use it to train yourself to taking a full min to chew and wait for next bite....this does take practice....start taking walks....you need to walk alot after surgery it helps you heal. there are many things to do and as her support you will have to make changes with her...so better get started! she is awful lucky to have a guy come on here to give support! keep doing what you are doing...cant hurry beurocracy! it will happen...all in their good time and than you will have the rest of your lives to worry about other things! keep the faith! nutti
