Banded today

Ok I was at the hospital at 5:45 was banded at 7:30 and sent home at 10:45. I feel good, not much pain unless I stand up to walk. I have noticed though in the last 1/2 an hour that my back hurts between my shoulder blades. Is this just the gas still? Or do you think it is my lungs? I am sooooo happy to be on the Losers' side now. Let me know about the back pain, I had to call the doctor if I don't need too.

Sounds like gas pains to me.  You'll have gas for several days.  Do you have any Gas X - that helped me a lot.  And while I doubt you'll feel like it today, tomorrow get up and walk as often as you can, though don't overdo it.  I took slow walks around the block.  That not only helped w/recovery but did wonders for those nasty gas pains. Congratulations on making it over to the loser's bench!

I can't tell you anything about the pain your having because I haven't had my surgery yet, but wanted to say CONGRAT'S, and hope you have a speedy recovery.

  That's about as drive-thru a surgery as ya can get!!!     CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the losers bench!!  Yep, sounds just like gas pains.
